# How to apply for accreditation

We guide you through the process in a few steps, from intake to become an accredited trainer.

### Process

Step 1 — Intake

We will discuss your course portfolio, certifications, and PE activities relevant to your application for accreditation.

Step 2 — Your application

To proceed with your application we need the following documentation:

- course description and learning objectives
- course structure and study load
- information about training providers
- assessment design (if relevant)
- quality assurance and evaluation process
- indication of PE hours and credits per course, including supporting documents

Step 3 — Review

CCLTE assesses the application against the assessment framework. Where necessary, we will request clarification.

Step 4 — Decision and communication

Following the review, you will receive the decision, along with any conditions or recommendations.

Step 5 — Follow-up

Once you are successfully accredited, you will be listed as an accredited trainer on CCLTE.org. Reassessment or re-accreditation will take place in accordance with the agreed validity period.
