The Centre for Certified Legal and Tech Expertise (CCLTE) was established to develop and safeguard professional education and certification at the intersection of law and technology. Professionals can rely on the consistent high quality of both their course and assessment.

Meet our Director

Dr. Wes Wierda

Wes Wierda, Director of CCLTE, has extensive experience in higher education, quality assurance and educational development. As a former board member at Hobéon, the market leader in higher education accreditation in the Netherlands, he has in-depth knowledge of national and international accreditations and certifications. He has supported organisations in strengthening education and quality processes for ministries and the business community.

He also served as a Professor of Applied Sciences (Lector) in Media Business, specialising in digital business models, and as a professor at the prestigious Glion Institute of Higher Education in Montreux, where he combined international research and teaching. He was co-owner of a business school and has worked with organisations such as TriFinance, ASML, Warner Music and Adyen.

His focus is on connecting knowledge, people and practice to better align education with labour market needs and to achieve sustainable impact.
