For active registration, you must obtain at least 16 PE credits per certificate each year.
PE credits you have already obtained remain valid.
If you obtain more than 16 PE credits in a calendar year, you may carry the surplus forward to the next calendar year.
For active registration, you pay an annual fee:
-
€149 in 2026
-
€229 per year from 2027
This fee is used to invest in quality assurance, professional offerings, digital support, and the further development of certification.
Active registration is not mandatory, but it is required if you wish to:

you wish to continue using your title in professional and online communications.
If you do not meet the conditions for active registration:

you can no longer be listed in the register as actively certified;

your certificate may be suspended or withdrawn if the PE requirements are not met.
You record your PE credits in accordance with the CCLTE methodology:

you receive a confirmation after submission;
CCLTE may review the registration and request additional information where necessary.
You can find the conditions for continuing professional education and registration in the PE handbook, which sets out all rules, activities, and assessment criteria.
